2019-06-12 I remember having this on draught when this beer released and thinking it had very little bourbon, and nothing has changed. Some wood on it, though. Pours black with small ring of bubbles at edge remaining. Nose has wood, chocolate, some roasty notes. Taste pleasing with hint of oxidation at this point. Feel is heavy. | |

2019-06-03 At six years this is still boozy and enjoyably hot. Poured to sifter, near black, a finger of tan head with ring of retention, minor lacing. Nose a sweet blend of bourbon, oak and molasses. Taste brings forward vanilla, molasses, along with the heat. Medium heavy body. | |
